Description

Your farm stops smelling like hay and starts smelling like something new.
Have you ever felt that cooking loses its purpose halfway through year one, and that food buffs vanish before you reach the mine entrance? The Apothecary adds a whole new skill to the Valley, with its own 10 levels, professions, stations, and reason to keep foraging. You grow and gather aromatic plants, dry them, grind them, and turn them into incense that perfume a corner of your farm or into teas, balms, and tinctures you carry with you
Everything you make here is a small comfort: a tea after a long day, a candle by the window on a rainy night, a balm that smells like home.
This mod is free and always will beIt does not require the purchase of a device to play and enjoy and never will.Nothing is gated behind a purchase at any point.Having an Omara device unlocks the scent experience, but it is not required- The Apothecary Team
โจ Features
๐ฟ New Apothecary skill: Sitting beside Farming, Mining, and Fishing, with recipes at every level and a profession fork at Level 5 and 10, exactly like vanilla
โ๏ธ New stations and tools: Drying Rack, Mortar, Junimo Style Censer, Botanical Infuser, and the decorative Aroma Diffuser
๐จ Mortar upgrade path at Clint's: From Stone Mortar to Master Mortar, which grinds a full stack for zero energy and adds a quality tier
๐ฏ๏ธ Master of Aura branch: Light an incense and it creates a circular aura on the ground. Pet an animal, water a crop or check a crab pot inside it and the aroma fires. At Level 10 you either double the radius or push every interaction effect further
๐ต Royal Distiller branch: Brew personal buffs the vanilla way, covering Fishing, Mining, Foraging, Farming, Luck, Speed, Magnetism, Defense and more. At Level 10 you either sell everything for a quarter more or add a full quality tier to every output
๐ฉ๐พ Dahlia: a new villager living by the lake in Cindersap Forest. Village apothecary, mentor, and the one who mails you your first Drying Rack. A friend, not a romance option

๐ Preference System that gives every villager their own aroma
๐ A New Festival, The Great Truffle Hunt

๐ Known Bugs/Issues
If the Community Center goes black when you walk in after removing The Apothecary, an old bundle row is still in your save. Older versions (Version 1.0.0) put the Apothecary's Lot in the Crafts Room. The Lot lives on Dahlia's request board now, but saves made before that still carry the row, and the game looks it up without checking whether it exists, so the doorway transition never finishes.
- Put The Apothecary back in Mods and start the game.
- Load the save as the host. The row is removed on load, and any Lot progress you had moves to Dahlia's board. Running apoth_repair_cc in the SMAPI console does the same thing on demand.
- Sleep one night so the save gets written.
- If you still want the mod gone, run apoth_uninstall to preview the changes, then apoth_uninstall confirm, sleep once more, quit, and delete the mod folder.
- Open %AppData%\StardewValley\Saves\YourFarm number and open the file with the same name as the folder in a text editor. On Mac and Linux it is under ~/.config/StardewValley/Saves.
- Search for Crafts Room/1400 and delete the whole <item>...</item> around it.
- Inside <bundles>, delete the <item> whose key is <int>1400</int>. Do the same inside <bundleRewards>.
- Save the file and load the game.
๐ How do I uninstall the mod?
- Load the save as the host.
- Run apoth_uninstall to preview the cleanup
- Run apoth_uninstall confirm to remove it from your save
- Save the game
- Quit the game
- Delete the Mods/TheApothecary folder
