Some Sims are surviving in basements or in the city bunker. The cable tunnels can be used to travel to other rooms with maximizing one skill. I added windows that look like doors, after maximizing one skill your sim can change one of this windows to a door. When you have all necessary packs you can delete the lunch boxes after you cooked your first meal. When all of them find a way out, they can move to the sinkhole.
