This was my second attempt at a mid century house. I find it easier to make two-story, and wanted to try an angled roof. As the sun favors the backyard, I prioritized it over the front, which I just wasn't able to it look good.

Just like the previous build, the interior uses platforms to add more interest by further separating the entryway and kitchen. In order to remove the clipping from the toddler bedroom I had to lower the platform, and ended up turning that into a small play area.

The rest of the build looks quite ordinary, but I think that's okay.

December 11th: I was updating my spreadsheet with the dates my builds were posted to the Gallery, as I'll need them to release this year's tierlist, when I realized this one was missing! I don't know how long it's been like that, or even if it was my doing, but considering the underwhelming decor and exterior, it seemed a great candidate for a makeover, especially after I found out how to rotate the neighborhood sun. Just like my modern house, nearly everything was changed.

For the exterior, I used the not-so-new glass walls and roofs, along with the HBD window set, to revitalize the build. However, to truly improve it, I had to change the floorplan in order to remove the thick collumn in the front, which resulted in one less bathroom, a smaller office and a slightly bigger bedroom. Besides that, I switched the stone wallpaper for my favorite one, added way more color and increased the backyard to occupy the entire lot.

Inside, I moved the backyard door to increase the kitchen and switched the living and dining room, reducing the emptiness near the entryway. Upstairs, I managed to increase the bump-out, allowing just enough space for a home gym. Overall, it's much darker and moodier, and I love it.

In order for the build to the uploaded, I tried to improve the build's title and description as well. This one was a reference to its unique shape, while that to the color scheme being mostly red, green and blue, at least outside.

How to rotate the sun: locate the neighborhood .world file you desire to change (I used this thread to help me with that), open it with Sims 4 Studio and change the F2 number under "Unknown World 5", I recommend this tool to facilitate with the visualization, which uses its morning position as reference. If you aren't being able to edit, copy the .world file to somewhere else and then move it back once it's edited.
