Description
This mod is a simple tuning file designed to have neighbors bring Yakisoba instead of Fruitcake during the Welcome Wagon event.
Traditionally in Japan, when people move to a new neighborhood, they gift Soba noodles to their new neighbors. This is a play on words (Hikkoshi Soba / 引越しそば), meaning "we have moved next door to you." Due to game mechanics, this traditional housewarming gift is instead brought by the neighbors for the player to enjoy.
Since there is no traditional Soba in the game, I used Veggie Yakisoba as an alternative.
No text strings were altered, so technically no translation is required.
I originally wanted to restrict this change to Mt. Komorebi only. However, since the game uses a generic Welcome Wagon event, this will unfortunately override the Welcome Wagon in most worlds.
And naturally, this mod requires the Snowy Escape Expansion Pack!
