Unlocked Apartment Traits & Objects

The mod unlocks every locked Lot Trait from the City Living Expansion Pack, allowing you to place them on any lot. It also includes a fix for the vent that's supposed to ooze goo puddles, which is broken in the vanilla game. The roach and random smell spawners now have visible placement markers in Build Mode, making them easier to place. It also fixes an issue where Last Exceptions could be thrown when loading into a lot with a broken electrical box.

Roaches can be placed anywhere as long as they're attached to a wall. The width of the placement marker doesn't matter, as the VFX adjusts automatically. Just make sure it's placed against a wall to avoid clipping issues. I'm not sure which objects prevent Sims from fixing the roach problem, but counters, coffee tables, and desks do not appear to block routing.

All gameplay objects associated with these traits are also unlocked and fully functional.

The locked traits themselves have very little gameplay impact and are not required for the associated objects to function.

The completely decorative Lot Traits are:

• Low Deposit
• Cheap
• Romantic Fireplace (the unlocked fireplace provides a Flirty moodlet and does not require the trait to function)
• Needs TLC (the utility box, water pipes, vent that can spawn goo puddles, random smell, roaches, and the mouse hole can all be placed without requiring the trait to be selected)
• Historical (includes a plaque with about 9 swatches to match the trait, but the trait itself is not required)
• Great View (includes gorgeous modern windows with one side that is much less visible and tinted a deep teal blue. The windows provide a positive moodlet and do not require the trait.)

The functional Lot Traits are:

• Lively Neighbors (apartments only) - Increases the chance of neighbor situations occurring (the apartments where hearts or swear signs appear above the doors).
• Quiet (apartments only) - Completely disables neighbor situations or significantly reduces the chance of them occurring.
• Pricey - Provides a constant positive moodlet to Sims living on the lot.
• Serviced Apartment - Provides a free maid service that regularly visits the lot to keep it clean and tidy.

The objects can be found under Wall Decorations in Build Mode. The windows and fireplace can be found in their respective categories. Build/Buy objects are not deleted if you purchase a lot unfurnished.

IF YOU USE TWISTEDMEXI'S NO WEATHER IN BUILD/BUY MOD

TwistedMexi's mod mistakenly treats the vent as a puddle, causing it to disappear in Build Mode. When it reappears, its rotation and object state are reset, which can break its functionality.

The two mods are compatible, but the vent may not work correctly while using TwistedMexi's mod.
