Just a little something I have been working on to expand the gameplay for those who love to DJ. I'm not going to try and oversell this as something amazing. There is a DJ reward trait you receive after announcing to another sim that you started DJing (can be found in The DJ pie menu) which unlocks 9 custom interactions. I also made a "DJ Work Event" where you can DJ in clubs and earn some extra simoleons besides the tips you normally receive. It's meant for mid to high skill DJ's as I believe they should earn more than what you normally receive in tips. I made the event goals as flexible as possible so you have much freedom over how you want to play the set. I also made a custom aspiration in the "Popularity" category called "Admired DJ". Finally I also made a rabbithole part-time career called "Club DJ" with 8 levels for those who enjoy that. There is object rewards for promotion now. The career is available from Young Adult and up.
Requirements: Get Famous and Get Together
Note: If you have a lot of celebrities in your save file it can be an absolute nightmare to DJ, because when you try to switch genres it will not work since hidden interactions are queued to go take photos of a celebrity for example. If you then cancel the current interaction and try to play a new genre your sim will instead go crazy about the celebrity even if they are one themselves. A new DJ will then come and interrupt your set so you have to claim the decks again. It's just infuriating. Get Famous is the absolute worst pack in regards to sim behavior so this is just a heads up. Other than that I hope you can enjoy this mod and roleplay a little more as a DJ.
How to install: Download the zip file, extract the folder and put directly in your mods folder. Script files can't be more than one folder deep.

Added another career level to the Club DJ career and made some small tweaks to the DJ Work Event. Adjusted some promo rewards. You get lots of awesome stuff if you venture through the whole career. I hope you have a laugh with some of the costumes as well.

Discovered an error with the Kool Herc career level. It has been fixed. Sorry to those who ran into the error and had problems as a result of that. Made slight changes to the career overall. Then I made interaction filters so certain interactions can't be used on children. Teenagers can no longer join the career. It's from Young Adult to Elder now.

Reworked the "DJ Work Event" to be much more flexible so you can play the set pretty much how you want. Just hover over the objectives for details. I adjusted the payout for gold award. It was a bit too much. Then I also improved the rabbithole career and there is now object rewards when you get promoted. Finally I adjusted the "Admired DJ" aspiration because some objectives felt tedious to do. Hope you enjoy!
