Bible Verse of The Day V1.40

Note: I have switched to using Lumpinou's Mood Pack for more varied and accurate emotions and it also solves some issues with buffs getting extended and putting everything out of sync if you had certain traits or buffs. You can download it for free here. You only need to download the .package file at the bottom of the post and put it in your mods folder.

Mod Info: A little mod that lets your sim read the Bible verse of the day on the phone and receive a buff where you can read the verse. You can find the interaction in the "Home" category in the phone menu. The interaction will disappear when you have read the verse of the day and come back once the next verse is ready. You will also receive a pop-up notification when the next verse is ready. To read the verse itself just go to buff panel in the bottom left and hover over the icon that looks like a book or look for the notification in the top right corner. There are currently 150 verses in rotation and I might make more in the future. I use the ESV version of the verses to make it understandable for as many as possible. I have tried to give the buff a moodlet fitting for the verse, but of course it can vary individually what we feel when reading a verse. Some verses can also make you feel numerous things, but I have picked what I'm drawn the most towards. I have done my best.

Requirements: Basegame and Lumpinou's Mood Pack

Note: I made this little mod as an add-on for my Ultimate Christianity mod which you can find on my Patreon or on itch.io, but it's not required to use this mod.

How to install: Download the zip file, extract the contents and put it directly in your mods folder. Script files can't be more than one folder deep.

Hope you enjoy! Any issues let me know..
