Base Game is all you need for regular seated guitar playing, lounge chairs, and playing guitar while relaxing on a bed.

You only need the corresponding expansion pack if you want to use that specific feature.

Description

Sit & Play Guitar expands guitar gameplay by allowing Sims to play the guitar while remaining seated in several different situations.

Instead of always standing up before playing, Sims can now use many of the normal guitar interactions while sitting, making guitar performances feel much more natural in bedrooms, living spaces, and outdoor settings.

Supported Seating

This mod currently supports:

• Regular chairs and other standard seated positions
• Cross-legged playing on beds
• Cross-legged ground seating
• Performance Spaces from City Living
• Lounge floats from Island Living
• Lounge chairs from the Base Game
• Monkey bars from the Base Game
• Relaxing on beds using the Base Game relax posture
• Campfires from Outdoor Retreat and other compatible packs
• Canoes from Island Living
• Kayaks from Adventure Awaits
• Swings when using Meraki's SwingSet Overhaul
• Rocking chairs from Nifty Knitting and other compatible packs

On Performance Spaces, Sims can sit cross-legged and play the guitar while using the performance area.

For lounge floats and lounge chairs, Sims can play the guitar while remaining in their relaxed seated or reclined position.

When relaxing on a bed, Sims can play the guitar without first leaving the relaxed bed posture.

On rocking chairs, Sims can continue rocking while playing the guitar instead of stopping the rocking motion or standing up first.

For campfires, guitar interactions can be started while using the campfire area, allowing Sims to play in a more natural campsite setting.

For canoes and kayaks, guitar interactions are available while the Sim is seated and stationary. Sims will not play the guitar while actively paddling or moving the boat.
