This mod adds a hidden affair system to The Sims 4, with emotional affairs, physical affairs, suspicion, discovery, fallout, rivalry, and final relationship decisions.
What's new
Translation Improvements
Most notifications previously generated directly by the Secret Affairs script have now been moved into the mod’s string tables.
This includes:
- Affair progression notifications
- Suspicion and discovery notifications
- Caught-in-the-act messages
- Friend and neighbor warnings
- Try for Baby affair notifications
- Rivalry responses
- Final-decision outcomes
A small number of highly dynamic identity-reveal messages, particularly Tell Me Who It Is, currently remain in English. These responses dynamically combine names, pronouns, family relationships, affair duration, traits, and contextual outcomes. I chose to leave this system unchanged for now rather than risk interfering with how the reveal mechanism works.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue that could interfere with ultra-speed while Sims were sleeping.
- Fixed invalid participant tuning reported by Better Exceptions in several final-decision router loots.
- Confirmed that Street Sale timers and selling-table interactions work correctly.
- Confirmed that affair progression, discovery, friend warnings, hickey buffs, and visual hickeys continue working after the patch.
