A bug causing relationships to not load and appear deleted flew under the radar during testing, and has now been fixed. All your sims relationships should still be intact and will load as normal.
Please redownload.
Sorry about that!

Happy Halloween! I'm releasing the scariest update I can think of... managing your finances! Now you may ask, 'Seb, wasn't there already a treasury in the mod?' and you would be right. However, the treasury before was entirely built in XML and tied to the Monarch which didn't allow you guys much room at all to play with it. I've been working on script/python treasuries for probably the better part of this year, and can happily say it's working perfectly now!
Included:
- Access the new treasury interactions by clicking your Monarch and navigating to the Royalty Mod pie menu and clicking on Treasury.
- Treasury Interactions:
- Add to treasury from household funds (So the Monarch can pay out of pocket to replenish the treasury)
- Withdraw from treasury funds to household funds (The Royals can take from the treasury to pay for their lifestyle.)
- Check treasury funds.
- World-Specific Funds:
- Each world in your game will now generate and maintain its own unique Treasury. This will persist between game loads, and will be unique to each save.
- Not Tied to the Monarch:
- Treasuries are no longer lost when a Monarch dies. They are automatically passed down from Monarch to Monarch.
- You no longer need to be playing in your Monarch's household to affect the Treasury! Actions like peasants paying taxes or specific noble/royal rabbithole events will directly impact the funds of that world's Treasury.
- War and certain noble/royal rabbitholes, will now yield different results in the Treasury's funds. More treasury effecting features will be added as the mod grows in the future.
Important Note on Persistence (PLEASE READ!):
I've implemented a new system to ensure your kingdom's accumulated wealth is safe!
- You will notice a new folder in your main Mods directory called Royalty Mod Settings. This folder contains all the information about your generated Treasuries.
- CRITICAL: Do not delete or rename this folder or any files within it! Doing so will cause you to lose all your accumulated Treasury funds.
- This new settings folder ensures that you will not lose your Treasuries when updating the Royalty Mod in the future.
- Do not rename the llazyneiph_royalty_mod folder. You will break the scripts.
Cheats
- treasury.add number | Add funds to treasury. Example: treasury.add 1000
- treasury.subtract number | Subtract funds from treasury. Example: treasury.subtract 1000
- treasury.list_all | List all world treasuries. Will only list generated ones so please don't be worried if only one world shows up
- treasury.set | Set treasury value. Example: treasury.set 1000
- treasury.stats | Just interesting information about your treasuries such as treasury averages, the least amount of money it's ever had, and the most
I really hope you guys like this update, I've been learning python pretty intensely this year so I can take Royalty Mod to the next level. It's been hard but I'm already so happy with the results!
