Click on any Sim, select Quick Emotions, and choose the emotion you want. You can also use Restore Natural Emotion to remove the forced emotional state and let the Sim return to their naturally determined mood.

How to Use
Click on a Sim and select:
Quick Emotions → Choose an Emotion
The selected emotion will be applied immediately.
To return the Sim to their normal emotional state:
Quick Emotions → Restore Natural Emotion

Installation
Place the downloaded files in:
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
If the mod includes a script file, make sure Script Mods Allowed is enabled in the game settings.
Do not place .ts4script files more than one folder deep inside your Mods folder.
Compatibility
If a game update causes issues, make sure you are using the latest version of Quick Emotions.
