Lost track of time playing The Sims 4? Lucifer’s AutoSave helps you keep your progress by automatically saving at your chosen interval.
Click any playable Sim, open Lucifer’s auto-save, and choose 5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes. Select the same interval again to turn auto-save off. Your preference is remembered across sessions.
Features
- Uses real-world time, independent of simulation speed.
- Saves over your current save slot, keeping its name.
- Restarts the countdown after a normal manual save.
- Waits while loading, travelling, or when the game blocks saving.
- Shows a notification after a successful automatic save.
- Requires no XML Injector or other mod.
This mod overwrites your current save; it does not create rotating backups.
Installation
- Close the game and extract the download.
- Place both the
.packageand.ts4scriptfiles together in a folder directly inside your Sims 4Modsfolder. - Enable Custom Content and Mods and Script Mods Allowed, then restart.
- Load your household and save manually once before choosing an interval.
Beta and compatibility
Version 1.2.1 beta targets The Sims 4 PC 1.121.361.1020. Compatibility with newer patches has not been verified.
The current release is designed to continue its countdown during paused gameplay and Build/Buy, freeze it while the Esc menu is open, and replace its previous save notification. These latest changes still need in-game confirmation.
Mods that replace the same Esc menu or notification-wall interface may conflict.
