🔧 Hide Completed Upgrades

Tired of opening an object's Upgrade menu only to dig through a long list of upgrades your Sim has already completed?

Hide Completed Upgrades cleans up upgrade menus by hiding upgrades that have already been installed on an object.

Once an upgrade is completed, it no longer needs to take up space in the interaction menu. The upgrades that are still available remain visible, making it much easier to see what your Sim can actually work on next.

✨ What does this mod do?

Hide Completed Upgrades:

• hides upgrades that have already been completed on an object,

• keeps unfinished and still available upgrades visible,

• reduces clutter in upgrade interaction menus,

• makes it easier to check which upgrades an object still needs,

• does not remove completed upgrades or their effects.

The upgrade is still installed and continues to work normally — it is simply removed from the list of options once there is nothing left for your Sim to do with it.

🛠️ Why?

As objects gain more and more upgrades, their upgrade menus can become unnecessarily crowded.

Your Sim doesn't really need to keep seeing:

"Upgrade already installed."

...again.

And again.

And again. 😅

This mod keeps the menu focused on the upgrades that still matter.

🎮 Gameplay

There is nothing you need to enable or manage.

Simply use the object's upgrade menu normally.

If an upgrade has already been completed, Hide Completed Upgrades removes that completed option from the menu.

Upgrades that are still available remain accessible as usual.

It is primarily a quality-of-life interface cleanup for the existing upgrade system.

📦 Installation

1. Download the mod.

2. Extract the downloaded archive if necessary.

3. Place the mod file in your:

Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods

1. Delete localthumbcache.package after installing or updating mods.

2. Start the game and enjoy a cleaner upgrade menu.

🔄 Removing the mod

The mod can be removed without intentionally removing the upgrades already installed on your objects.

After removing it, the game's normal upgrade menu behavior will return.

⚠️ Compatibility

Because this mod changes how upgrade interactions are displayed, another mod that modifies the same upgrade interactions or their availability tests may conflict with it.

Mods that simply add new objects or new upgrades should not automatically be assumed to conflict, but compatibility can depend on how those upgrades were created.

If you notice an upgrade disappearing when it should still be available, please report the object and upgrade involved.

💚 Made for cleaner gameplay

This is a small mod, but especially in long-running saves with heavily upgraded homes, it can make object menus much easier to use.

Because once your Sim has installed an upgrade...

• pozostawia widoczne ulepszenia nadal dostępne do wykonania,

• ogranicza bałagan w menu ulepszeń,

• ułatwia sprawdzenie, czego jeszcze brakuje danemu obiektowi,

Ulepszenie nadal pozostaje zainstalowane i działa normalnie — znika jedynie z listy dostępnych opcji, gdy Sim nie ma już przy nim nic do zrobienia.

Wraz z kolejnymi ulepszeniami menu niektórych obiektów potrafi robić się niepotrzebnie zatłoczone.

Ulepszenia, które nadal można wykonać, pozostają dostępne normalnie.

📦 Instalacja
