COMPLETE Dancing Tweak

Tunes down autonomous dancing. Your Sims will still dance where it's appropriate, like during partys or in clubs or bars. Also, they will still dance when they have special traits like dance_machine.

I know EA has that issue on their list, but with what they did with their previous autonomy fixes, I'll personally stick to my mod which I have been sucessfully using for years now.

There are separate packages for the dances that came with various packs (like the cowpoke dance). Just delete those if you don't have the pack they come with.
