I'm releasing my pack with now massive 100 fresh odd jobs (yes 100, all hand-written by yours truly). They cover most skills in the game except for the newer packs, because you can do competitions with skills like swordsmanship, horse riding and archery. I have obviously not had the chance to test if every single job works, but I have tested the majority and they work just fine. There is however a known issue you should read about below before you start using this odd job pack. I was so bored with the odd jobs EA have created that I wanted to make my own. These pay a lot more (usually between 125 - 500 simoleons an hour) and utilize a wide range of skills. If your sim is skilled at many things they can make a living from these odd jobs without getting rich which is what I intend with this package. The game is just more fun when your sims are not filthy rich. These odd jobs are all rabbithole. I have a separate mod for assignment odd jobs now. You can expect to be challenged to a juice pong contest, run a naked 10k through San Myshuno and even stand in for someone else at a bowling tournament. I will let you discover the rest 😄
Requirements: Island Living (of course), Discover University, High School Years, Cottage Living, Parenthood, Cats and Dogs, Outdoor Retreat, Vampires, Bowling Night Stuff, Get Together, Get to Work, Jungle Adventure, Businesses and Hobbies, Spa Day, Get Famous, Snowy Escape and preferably Seasons (you can build Flower Arranging skill with the bonsai tree if you don't have this pack).
Recommended Mod: Midnitetech has made a file that hides EA's default jobs. You can grab it here . It's the top file called hidemaxis.package. I highly recommend Midnitetech in general. Every mod I have tried are top quality.
Known Issues: Say you are two people in your household and you accept an odd job with one of them and they go to the odd job while you travel off lot with the other sim it will give a last exception when the first sim finishes the odd job if you are off your home lot. The UI will bug out and show that the odd job sim is still at work even though they are not and the odd job will not have been completed. Not even using MCCC to teleport sim and then resetting the sim works so if you want to use this odd job pack don't travel off your home lot while doing an odd job. If you get this error simply go to CAS with one of your household sims and then back into live mode. Then you can cancel the bugged odd job and continue as if it nothing happened. I remember this exact issue happening with other custom odd jobs as well and I don't know how to fix the error. I don't remember if it happens with EA odd jobs as well so just be aware of this.
Simply download the zip file, extract the package file and put it in your mods folder. It can take a while for the odd jobs to start showing in your game especially if you have other custom odd jobs so just be aware of that. And remember don't travel off your home lot while a sim is doing one of these odd jobs!
