This mod requires Lot 51 Core Library
This mod adds immediate interaction that upgrade Neon Sign from Get To Work.
This upgrade interaction has a cost but does not require skill level or upgrade parts, and it works regardless of the neon sign’s placement.
- Make Unbreakable completes both the Install Surge Protector and Reinforce Electrical Contacts upgrades.
- Upgrade options via the Handiness Skill are still available.
- There is no cost to upgrade in community lots.
- I also added cheat instant upgrade interaction.When test cheats are enabled, Shift-clicking the Neon Sign object.
The options file makes the cheat instant upgrade interaction appear with one click even when no test cheats are enabled,This may be particularly useful in building.
Notes
The Instant Upgrade option still shows up after completing all upgrades with these options, and executing it doesn't end the interaction—this is a bug in EA's.
I’ve created a fix mod for this issue.
I didn't know about the neon sign animation feature for a long time (or maybe I had forgotten about it).
This animation feature livens up the lot, so I created it to make it easier to use.
