This mod adds an Avoid menu under Actions that lets you block specific interaction categories from firing autonomously between two Sims. It's perfect for affair partners, secret relationships, or to keep certain Sims from interacting for a period of time.

How It Works

Click a Sim (age Child and up) that your Sim has already met, then go to:

Actions → Avoid

Choose a category and duration. While active, those autonomous interactions will not fire between the two Sims.

Categories

• Friendly, Mean, Mischief, Funny, or Romance
• Avoid Indefinitely (blocks everything at once)

Durations

• 4 hours
• 8 hours
• 1 day
• 3 days
• 1 week
• Indefinitely

Removing Blocks Early

Avoid blocks can be cleared before they expire by:

• Directing your Sim to perform an avoided interaction (clears the block for that category)
• Using the Allow option on the category in the Avoid menu
• Using the Stop Avoiding option (if all interaction categories are blocked)

Exceptions

• NPC to NPC interactions are unaffected
• NPCs designated as special by EA are not able to be avoided
• Sims fulfilling jobs designated as important by EA may still use Friendly/Mean when required
• The option to block Romance with a Sim only appears when age, sexual orientation, and family relationships allow it

Compatibility

• This mod does not directly overwrite any game files so it will not conflict with other mods.
• This mod is base game compatible
