Autonomous Dog Walking

Tired of your dog whining for a walk while your sim just... does nothing? This mini mod makes your sims autonomously walk their dogs when they are ready to go potty, so you don't have to keep pausing your gameplay to manually send someone out every single time or suffer through watching your puppy look sad and paw at the floor lol. 

How It Works

Once your dog reaches the point where the game considers them ready for a walk, the mod can detect that state and have an eligible household sim take them out. The mod uses the dog's existing walk request timer rather than trying to detect the thought bubble itself. From there, it pushes EA's normal dog-walking system so the experience should feel very much they same as usual - you just won't have to be the one doing it.

Requirements

• Lot 51 Core Library is required.
• EP 04: Cats & Dogs is required.

Installation

• Download and extract megansway_AutoPetWalking.zip.
• Place megansway_AutoPetWalking.ts4script into your Sims 4 Mods folder.
• Make sure Custom Content and Mods and Script Mods Allowed are enabled in your game settings.
• Keep it no more than one folder deep inside your Mods folder.

Troubleshooting Cheats

If anything goes wrong try these out:

• apc.status — Displays the current dog-walk state and timer information.
• apc.walk_test — Immediately attempts to push the native dog walk flow for testing.
