This is a mod which fixes the "add_knows_career" bug which occurs when attempting to split a Sim's household.

AS OF GAME VERSION 1.109, THIS MOD IS NO LONGER NEEDED. IT SHOULDN'T CAUSE ERRORS WHILE INSTALLED, BUT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REMOVE THE FILE AS IT IS NO LONGER NECESSARY AND COULD CAUSE ERRORS IN THE FUTURE. THE DOWNLOAD FOR THE MOD HAS BEEN REMOVED.

This bug is caused by an issue encountered when attempting to fix the relationships between newly merged/split households. Normally, the game introduces every Sim to one another and gives them a default relationship of essentially "I live with this person". However, for some reason, an issue is occurring where these relationships are unable to be formed. In my limited testing, it appears to be mainly between ghosts, but the underlying issue may be more complex.

This mod simply skips over the creation of these relationships which are causing errors. A log file will be produced whenever one of these bugged relationships is created, detailing the Sims between whom this bug occurred. This allows for you to debug further for yourself, or to attempt to create the relationships manually through the cheat console or another mod.

Installation: This is a simple script mod. Simply download the zip file and extract the inner .ts4script file directly into your /Mods folder. It can also be put into a subfolder for organization, but as always, it must not be placed any deeper than one subfolder or it will not work!
