Spears for RuneScape: Dragonwilds
A new craftable weapon family built around quick spear combat. The release includes seven spear tiers and a separate Hoplite Shield. Each spear is its own item with a held model, dropped-world model, icon, and cooked combat assets.
Combat
- One-handed spears work with an equipped shield. Without a shield, you can block using the spear.
- Normal attacks chain through two thrusts and a finishing slash.
- The special attack carries you forward in a spinning charge.
- The Hoplite Shield is a separate craftable shield; it is not permanently attached to a spear.
Crafting
Craft the spears at the melee crafting bench under Additional Weapons - Spears. The Hoplite Shield appears under Additional Weapons - Shields.
Bronze Spear — 9 Bronze Bars, 4 Leather, 2 Wool Thread
Iron Spear — 9 Iron Bars, 4 Hard Leather, 2 Wool Thread, 4 Vault Shards
Steel Spear — 11 Steel Bars, 5 Draconic Leather, 4 Fine Thread, 5 Vault Shards
Mithril Spear — 11 Mithril Bars, 5 Cursed Leather, 4 Mystic Thread, 29 Dream Shards
Adamant Spear — 11 Adamantite Bars, 5 Scorched Leather, 4 Desert Thread, 4 Gypsum Wax
Black Metal Spear — 11 Black Metal Bars, 5 Cursed Leather, 4 Mystic Thread, 29 Dream Shards
Runite Spear — 7 Runite Bars, 3 Black Dragon Leather, 2 Vis Fibres, 2 Draconic Vis Wax
Hoplite Shield — 12 Steel Bars, 4 Draconic Leather, 6 Vault Shards

Requirements and installation
- Install RuneSchema with its required UE4SS setup.
- Download and extract the main Spears archive into RSDragonwilds\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\RuneSchema\mods\ so that RSDWSpears is the mod folder beneath mods.
- Keep the included cooked pak files and recipe manifest together; do not install only one file from the pak set.
- Restart the game. Visit the melee crafting bench to find the Additional Weapons categories.
The weapon items, models, animations, and combat registration are cooked into the Spears pak. RuneSchema is required to host the mod and place its recipes; a separate AdditionalWeapons Lua combat mod is not needed.
Release scope
This version includes the seven tiered spears.
