DragonMounts 0.8.4
What's new
Hello adventurers!
This update adds compatibility with Dragonwilds 1.0.1, improves Hannibus’s quest line, introduces additional languages and fixes several riding issues.
Dragonwilds 1.0.1 compatibility
- Updated the mod’s quest, objective, camera and spellbook data for Dragonwilds 1.0.1.
- Added summaries for Hannibus’s quests in the new Completed Quests tab, including translations.
- Restored the mounted camera framing and the normal camera when dismounting.
Hannibus and A Rider’s Promise
- Improved the final steps of A Rider’s Promise. Once Hannibus prepares the saddle, return to the recovered dragon at the old roost to fit it, then speak to Hannibus to complete the partnership.
- The saddle now appears on the dragon after fitting.
- Completing the partnership removes the roost dragon and saddle with the native unsummon effect. They remain gone after reloading, while your unlocked mount stays available.
- Fixed a quest timing issue that could leave the roost dragon invisible.
- Fixed the roost dragon retaining an outdated animation pose when returning to the area.
- Aligned the roost dragon’s visibility range with its saddle.
- Corrected references to “Linen Cloth” to use the proper item name, Rough Cloth.
- Existing quest progress is retained, including materials already handed in and completed partnerships.
Riding and visual fixes
- Flying boost now follows your in-game hold or toggle sprint preference, on keyboard and controller.
- Fixed parts of some outfits floating away from the rider, including starter clothing. Clothing returns to its normal animation behaviour when dismounting.
- Fixed rider nameplate height interference introduced by Dragonwilds 1.0.1.
- Fixed an issue with mounted player setup depending on the order players joined.
Languages
- Added French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean translations.
- The mod follows your selected game language.
Multiplayer and updating
Multiplayer remains experimental. Remote turning and flight animations can still appear delayed or out of sync, and frame stalls remain a known limitation.
