Description
Windy
Wind you can see. One wind blows over the whole world: its direction veers, its strength rises and falls, and now and then it gathers into a gust. A second system puts drifting motes into the air of many biomes, also when it is calm. Client side only.

The wind
- Stripes: long ribbons that run downwind and follow the ground over hills.
- Motes tumble in the current wherever the wind reaches. Pale wisps streak past during a gust.
- Leaves are torn off treetops in the tree's own colour: cherry stays pink, birch stays birch.
- Snow blows near-horizontal where it snows, and dust lifts off sand in hot, dry biomes.
Biome air
- Fireflies over swamps and forests after dark, pollen through jungles and lush caves by day.
- Heat dust across deserts, badlands and savannas, embers in the Nether, snow sparkle in cold biomes, petals in cherry groves.
- The effect is picked from the biome's name and temperature, so modded jungles, swamps, deserts and cold biomes get one too.
- Motes fade in rain and thin out where you cannot see the sky.
Settings
- The wind and the biome air each have a switch and a strength, and every effect has its own toggle.
/windy guststarts a gust at once,/windy calmends it,/windy statusreports the wind.- The particles follow the vanilla particle setting: half on Decreased, none on Minimal.
