SpeedHUD

A compact HUD showing your absolute speed in km/h. Its 16-segment bar changes color and shape for walking, swimming, riding, flying, gliding, ascending, diving, falling, dashing, and sliding. Airborne readings include vertical velocity. SpeedHUD reads movement data without changing your movement speed.

The HUD hides after a period of inactivity and returns when you move. Configure this behavior in Scripts/config.lua.

Keyboard positioning

• Ctrl+Shift+F6: enter positioning mode, or save and exit.
• Arrow keys: move by 1% of the screen.
• Shift+Arrow keys: move by 5%.
• Ctrl+Shift+F7: reset position.
• Ctrl+Shift+F8: cancel.

Requirements

• Palworld for Steam on Windows.
• UE4SS Experimental for Palworld, installed as a standalone loader.
• PalSchema.

Manual installation

1. Fully close Palworld.
2. Install standalone UE4SS and PalSchema.
3. Extract SpeedHUD-1.1.3-Manual.zip into the game folder containing Palworld.exe, keeping the complete folder structure.
4. Restart the game and enter a world.

This complete archive installs three required parts:

• Lua: Pal/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/SCWDSpeedHUD/
• PalSchema data: Pal/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/PalSchema/mods/SCWDSpeedHUD/
• HUD assets: Pal/Content/Paks/~mods/SCWD_SpeedHUD_P.pak

Use the complete manual download for this mixed Lua, PalSchema, and Pak project. Choose one installation channel for the mod and its loader; the Steam Workshop edition uses a different loader directory.
