Welcome to Lantern Ward

Explore a furnished harbor neighborhood in Vesper Reach, an adventure world for Minecraft Java 1.21.1 with Fabric. Start in the terminal safehouse, restore the district's power, deliver medical supplies, and take on five optional contracts. Play solo or team up with one friend.

Your city adventure

• Six contracts across the terminal, night market, courtyard homes and Patch Clinic.
• Four classes: Vanguard, Runner, Technician and Medic, each with an active ability.
• Personal XP, salvage, permanent upgrades and one-time rewards alongside shared mission progress.
• Furnished interiors, harbor pavilions, roof gardens, a guarded upper bridge and a station shuttle.
• Persistent progress, recovery stations and keep-inventory adventures.

Required setup

Use Minecraft Java 1.21.1, Java 21 and Fabric Loader 0.19.5. Install these Fabric versions on every player's client and on a dedicated server:

• Fabric API: 0.116.17+1.21.1
• AdventureZ: 1.5.1 for 1.21.1
• Cloth Config: 15.0.140 Fabric
• Handcrafted by Terrarium: 4.0.3 for 1.21.1 Fabric
• Resourceful Lib by Team Resourceful: 3.0.12 Fabric

Install the world

1. Create a Minecraft 1.21.1 Fabric profile in CurseForge and install the required mods above.
2. Open the profile's folder and extract the downloaded world ZIP into its saves folder. The result should be saves/Vesper Reach - Lantern Ward/level.dat.
3. Launch that profile and open Singleplayer → Vesper Reach - Lantern Ward.
4. On the first load, wait for Lantern Ward is ready while the district builds.
5. Use ACCEPT / CLAIM REWARDS in the upstairs safehouse to start M01 Restore Lantern, then choose a class at the lockers.

Play together

For invitations between homes, both players can add Essential Mod 1.5.1 for Fabric 1.21.1. Add each other through Social → Add Friend. The host opens the world and selects Host → Start Hosting → Add Members. Keep the host's world open during the session. Both players use matching required mods.

For Xbox controllers, add Controlify 3.0.1 LTS for Fabric 1.21.1, complete its setup, and remap controls under Options → Controls → Controller Settings.

The screenshots use Complementary Reimagined lighting with Iris and Sodium. Shaders are optional; the world also plays with standard Minecraft lighting.
