Misplaced | a backrooms horror map [​Pre-Release v8.6.1] Important bug fix patch

  • Updated (Campaign mode):

    - Suggested configs room now goes directly into the starting cutscene
    - Added extra dialogues on Bad ending
    - Scorch attack reach reduced: 1.2 blocks → 1.1 blocks
    - Added extra deco on some parts of the map
    - Added nuclear project to the task section
    - Scorch chase adrenaline buff: reduced slowness and speed effects
    - Added a visual indicator when scorch is charging its attack
    - Fully reworked debug puzzle 3
    - Added new ambient music for all debug puzzles


  • Bug Fixes (Campaign mode and general):

    - Fixed Skin Stealer alignment issues
    - Fixed pitfalls not displaying night time correctly
    - Fixed typos on spanish advancement files
    - Fixed granted multiplayer advancements showing up after entering campaign mode
    - Fixed window garden soundtrack not turning off after getting out
    - Fixed title images not covering all the screen for full screen / wide resolution users
    - Fixed players not getting the window garden advancement when entering from electrical station
    - Fixed players being able to die from fall damage after finding the first lobby exit
    - Fixed spawnpoint issues when dying on the end library


  • Multiplayer updates:

    - [​General] VHS mode advancements are now separated from sandbox mode advancements
    - [​General] Cooperative mode player commands now automatically disable when you cant use them

    - [​Versus mode] Monsters are now notified when a door is being opened (Habitable Zone)

    - [​Sandbox mode] Made partygoer jumpscare a bit shorter to match the sound effect correctly
    - [​Sandbox mode] Added a new pet cat variant: Tuxedo
    - [​Sandbox mode] Reduced exit crystals timers for random teleport and glowing


  • Multiplayer bug fixes:

    - [​Versus mode] Fixed habitable zone game timer not being translated to Spanish

    - [​Sandbox mode] Fixed players being able to move when being jumpscared by some entities
    - [​Sandbox mode] Fixed level 7 and level 8 exit crystals not glowing when rollling a 2 on a mystery dice
    - [​Sandbox mode] Fixed The thing entity spawning right next to the first player that joins level 7
    - [​Sandbox mode] Fixed spectators being able to spam death messages on chat
    - [​Sandbox mode] Fixed spectators not respawning on the correct active spawnpoint at level 0
