Description
Since this map was created for versions prior to the introduction of concrete stairs, you must use this map with the following resource pack:
For 1.7.10 - 1.19.4: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/atoms-estructure-texture/files/8630586
For 1.20 and later: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/atoms-estructure-texture/files/8630571

This world can be used in all versions, also the version compatible with +1.18 includes LODs that are preloaded for use with Distant Horizons. And if you use Journeymap, the map has already been generated: (I don't know how to share it, CurseForge doesn't allow external links, and I don't think it's a good idea to place the map inside the world since not everyone uses Journeymap, and it's over 500 MB)
(Just move the content to .minecraft/journeymap/data/sp)

The 10x10 km map is an island featuring two Soviet-style military air bases, with mountains, canyons, rivers, lakes, and forests that can be used as cover to infiltrate the opposing base.
Both bases are exactly the same and are 8 km apart; they have equivalent geographical features so that both are equally vulnerable to attack. (Click on the image to view it in 2K)
MILITARY AIR BASE.
Each base has the following areas:
- 1 runway 1.5 km long and 47 m wide
Large enough to accommodate 2 fighter jets or one large aircraft - 2 preparation aprons
with space for 16 and 7 aircraft - Parking area for large aircraft
with space for 6 transport aircraft, bombers, AWACS, or others - Fortified hangar area, featuring 51 small and medium sized hangars
Various sizes to accommodate aircraft ranging from a Eurofighter to a Flanker - 17 open parking spaces, primarily for deploying anti-aircraft missile launchers
- Heliport
With open parking for 54 helicopters, plus a takeoff runway and 2 large hangars - Storage and repair area
Consisting of 5 large hangars and 2 small repair facilities

The design is inspired by Soviet military bases, with some creative liberties taken, so it is not an accurate representation of the real ones.
This map is designed to be used with military aircraft mods for missions and aerial combat, so there isn't much detail at ground level.

FUTURE PLANS:
- One of the bases will be changed to a NATO style base
- I’m considering adding a third island; I haven’t decided yet whether it will be a desert island with a Soviet base, a snowy island with a Russian style base, or perhaps both
- I’ll add small islands with military residential buildings connected to their respective bases by bridges; these bridges will cross the large mountains. The road will be wide enough to pass a large fighter jet, and the bridge will be high enough to allow flight underneath
I’d appreciate it if you could share your opinions or ideas. If the bases are too close together, I might add a twin island with its own bases, which would be located farther away
