RPK pack

in late 1950's the soviet union already had a light machine gun - PKM but it was too heavy for paratroopers and some other military units, they already had a lighter alternative - RPD but it wasn't that withstanding, so they decided they should make a machine gun that feeds on the same magazines the AKM and AK-47 uses. mikhail kalashnikov created the RPK in 1961. what did he change? barrel was thicker and longer, a bipod was added, the stock was changed so the soldier could hold on to the stock better, handguard was changed a bit to adapt to the barrel, a 40 round and a 75 round 7.62x39mm magazines were created for the gun. but it could also use standard 30 round AK mags. that damn thing is still used to today. the gun in my resource pack is a decently good i think model, with custom off hand position and gunshot sound effect.
