Revill Pack - CustomSkyboxes

The sky turns crimson, starts to spin, and cracks open. From the rift, Revil looks down at your world.

This resource pack adds a full sky event for CustomSkyboxes: a crimson nebula sky, a spinning vortex, and a rift that shatters open with an animated Revil model inside. Lightning, shockwaves and a red blast from the sky come after it. Run the commands in order and watch it happen.

Requirements

• CustomSkyboxes 1.0.4 or newer
• GeckoLib
• This resource pack, enabled in Options → Resource Packs

This pack needs GeckoLib to work. Install GeckoLib together with CustomSkyboxes, or Revil and his animations will not load.

What's inside

• Crimson nebula sky (nebula_crimson.png) that flows in from the top and covers the sun, moon, stars and clouds
• Galaxy rift background (galaxy.png), shown through the rift
• Revil: an animated GeckoLib model with an attack animation, drawn inside the rift and cut to the shape of the hole

How to play the event

Run the commands in this order:

1. The sky turns crimson /customskyboxes set @a sky nebula_crimson.png anim_in=top_merge_in anim_in_time=300 anim_out=top_merge_out anim_out_time=60 smooth_edges=false force_overcome=all

2. The sky starts to spin /customskyboxes animate @a sky vortex 1000 loop=true

3. The rift shatters open and Revil appears /customskyboxes set @a rift vanilla background=galaxy.png length=0.5 model=revil model_texture=revilprime.png model_scale=3 rotation=90 type=crack anim_in=rift_shatter anim_out=rift_close

4. Revil attacks /customskyboxes model @a animate rift attack

5. Lightning strikes from the rift /customskyboxes animate @a rift lightning 20

6. A Red shockwave bursts out /customskyboxes animate @a rift shockwave 20 color=RED

7. The whole sky shakes in red /customskyboxes animate @a sky shockwave 40 color=RED strength=4 size=3

8. Everything goes back to normal /customskyboxes clear @a all

Tips

• @a plays the event for every player. You need CustomSkyboxes installed on the server, or the CustomSkyboxesPlugin on Paper / Spigot (use /customskyboxesplugin instead of /customskyboxes).
• Every player needs the mod and this resource pack. You can send the pack as the server resource pack so everyone has it.
• Repeat steps 4 to 7 as many times as you like during the event.
• Players who join while the event is running still see the sky and the rift.

Compatibility

Works with every version CustomSkyboxes 1.0.4 supports, on Fabric, NeoForge and Forge, from 1.20.1 to 26.3. Iris shader packs and Vulkan on 26.x also work.
