This Resource Pack gives a new coat of paint to a majority of the fish from Nether Depths Upgrade.
The first time playing with this mod, i loved how full of life the Nether lava lakes were, the fish from the mod are really well animated and each type has their own personality and quirks, but the textures and sprites are mostly developer art, and don't quite match the effort put into everything from the mod, so I decided to just retexture them myself and give some of the simpler ones a little twist.
Searing Cod

Searing Cod got a full makeover, now their design is somewhat reminiscent of the countershading a lot of fish have in real life, but with the enviroment of The Nether in mind instead.
Glowdine

Like the name suggests, Glowdine are supposed to be Sardine, but their old design boiled down to a simple Glowstone texture with eyes and fins.
I based this design in a couple of different fish, the main ones are Neon Tetra with their coloration and streak down the middle, and Sardines for their general shape, with glowy bits on the tips of their fins and tail.
Bonefish

Bonefish are an odd bunch, their skeletons arent accurate to actual fish skeletons, but with them being fictional lava fish, its not that odd to have them have more of a terrestrial spine i guess.
Wither Bonefish

Same thing with Wither Bonefish, their spines resemble that of land animals, my guess is that they are supposed to be more like Skeletons that devolved back into fish or something along those lines.
Either way, these were designed to have the "grooved" shading that wither skeletons have in their skulls.
Obsidianfish

Weidly enough, this fish is based off of a fish from Terraria, that is thought to also be a reference to Minecraft, in Terraria these fish can be used to craft Potions of Return, a potion that spawns a purple swirly portal, like the Nether portal.
Anyways, since this is meant to be a reference to Terraria, i just retextured it to look more like that, but changed the eye color to be a mix of violet and red, the color of the original fish, and the colors of the Nether portal.
Soulsucker

Soulsuckers from what i can see are meant to be based off of Plecos, and while their model and animations are pretty cool, the texture was basically a blank canvas to put anything on it.
I based this design off of the King Tiger Plecostomus, their spots already resembled the swirls in Soul Soil so it was an instant pick.
Eye fish

Eyeball Fish got a simpler retexture, the concept is already fine as it is, but the texture needed some major work.
Magma Cube Fish

This one got the least amount of work put in, the eyes were moved to the side and the fins were touched up a little, thats it.
