What's new

Technically this is a huge update behind the scenes, however it adds only a little new content so I’m marking it as a minor update. There are, however, bug fixes! So you should download it nevertheless. Especially if you use optifine, as the previous version was completely broken.

  • Merged the 2 packs! Previously I separated the pack into two. One for Optifine users and one for EMF users. I thought merging these packs would break it for at least one of the mods, but apparently I never tested it!

  • Rebuilt the models from the ground up and all on my own. Which means that going forwards this pack is no longer built upon Intermet179's "Villagers With Arms" resource pack. Thank you Intermet179. Had it not been for that pack this project would never have gotten off the ground, and even though it no longer uses your code I’ll still have your name and pack mentioned at the bottom of the project page as a sign of appreciation.

  • Vanilla villagers no longer have custom arms, they once again have the monk-like vanilla pose you all know.

  • Rewrote the triggernames to be much more flexible. They are no longer case-sensitive, and much more importantly: You can now use spaces between the words in the triggernames! This means that the _ as a space between words is now obsolete and any villager you have previously named will need to be renamed. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but it’s scenarios like this that’s the reason for this pack to still be considered in the “beta” stage.

  • Shortened the command line for which skins to grab for each name, freeing up mere kilobytes of storage. You’re free to thank me now.

  • Included the triggernames I use for my own let’s play series, in case anybody watches it and attempts to use the same custom names I use. These are ‘Mountain Dwarf’ for pale dwarves and ‘Forest Gnome’ for pale gnomes.
