If you've seen the news on minecraft.net then you would know that mojang has released a texture pack with their new texture changes; however, it's only released for 1.12. That's where this pack comes in. It is a backported version of their new pack to 1.10 and 1.11.
By the way, I will not backport it to 1.7.10 because there were changes to models between 1.8 and 1.9.
