Lazy_Legend Transparent Pack (Java Edition)

Tired of the burning-fire overlay and the totem covering your screen? This lightweight pack makes them see-through, so you can always see what's happening around you while keeping the original vanilla look.

FEATURES

- Transparent Fire (50% opacity): the on-screen fire overlay no longer blocks your view when you are burning.

- Transparent Totem of Undying (50% opacity): the totem in your hand and the totem pop animation are see-through.

- Shield texture at 50% opacity (see notes below).

- Clean pack icon with a solid/translucent split-line style.

- Very small file size, no FPS impact.

- Minecraft Java Edition 1.20 and above

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Download the .zip file. Do not extract it.

2. In Minecraft go to Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder.

3. Put the .zip file in that folder.

4. Enable "Lazy_Legend Transparent Pack" in the resource pack list.

NOTES

- The totem texture is also used for the inventory icon, so the totem will look 50% transparent in your inventory and hotbar too.

- Fire blocks placed in the world are still drawn solid in Java Edition. The pack changes the burning screen overlay, which is what blocks your view.

- Java Edition draws the shield as a solid model, so the shield may still look opaque in some versions.

- Works with the vanilla fire, totem and shield only (modded items and banner-pattern shields are not supported).
