Emissive Light Glow

A passion project that makes ores, blocks, items, and entities glow! Enhance your Minecraft experience with the power of light!

Optifine is required for this pack to function on any version of Minecraft, and you must enable emissive texture in the options menu. For 1.12 specifically, use Optifine F4 or higher to avoid crashes with Astral Sorcery.

The pack is based on videogamer1002's Emissive Textures texture pack which was the only pack I could find back in 1.12 that implemented emissive textures (there may have been others that I never found or that did not advertise it). The original pack can be found here, and I encourage you to take a look to see which vanilla Minecraft objects were changed. Special thanks to them for providing a foundation for this project.

ELG is the base file for vanilla while ELG Modded only adds glow to the mods listed below (both may be combined). ELG Modded will be marked as beta so that the vanilla and modded files both show up in the version short list. If you use a lot of resource packs for vanilla, you can still use ELG Modded to change textures for modded content.

I will update this resource pack to add glow to other mods that I use. I change as I play, so there may be objects you believe should have glow that I have not seen yet. Just let me know if that is the case, and I'll look into it. Additionally, I do not play with every mod in existence, so there will be some content that I would never know should have light glow. Feel free to suggest some mods that you would like to see added, and I will take a look. I do try to stay true to the mod, so not everything will glow, and some objects look better without it.
