Description
Curios Feet Icon Fix
Fixes the invisible Curios "Feet" slot icon when the Immersive Interfaces resource pack is active.
The problem
Immersive Interfaces draws its own outlines for the vanilla armor slots, so it replaces minecraft:item/empty_armor_slot_boots with a fully transparent texture.
Several mods use that texture as the icon of their Curios feet slot, so the slot works but shows no icon:
- Artifacts
- L_Ender's Cataclysm
- Unique Accessories
- Apprentice's Codex
What this does
This datapack overrides the feet slot definition of those mods and points the icon at relics:slot/empty_feet_slot. That texture is provided by the Immersive Interfaces Curios pack and by the Relics mod.
- The vanilla armor slots are not touched. They keep Immersive Interfaces' own look.
- Only the icon changes. Slot size and order stay the same as in the original mods.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge)
- Curios API
- The Immersive Interfaces resource pack, with its Curios add-on, or the Relics mod. One of the two has to provide the
relics:slot/empty_feet_slottexture.
Installation
Put the folder in your Paxi datapacks directory:
config/paxi/datapacks/curios_feet_icon_fix
Then add "curios_feet_icon_fix" to config/paxi/datapack_load_order.json.
Without Paxi, you can also use it as a normal datapack: copy the folder into the datapacks folder of your world.
Restart the game, or run /reload in the world.
Compatibility
Only the four mods listed above are covered. If another mod adds a feet slot that uses the vanilla boots icon, its icon will still be invisible. Open an issue and name the mod, so it can be added.
