🐛 Fixed Missing Asset References

Resolved several invalid sound references that could cause missing ambience during gameplay, and several known issues

  • Removed invalid wind/wind references used by:
    • entity.dolphin.ambient
    • entity.fox.ambient
    • entity.llama.ambient
    • entity.tropical_fish.ambient
  • Replaced missing bird-ambience-spooky1 with bird-ambience-spooky3
    • (Fox, Frog, Llama)
  • Replaced missing seagull6 with seagull5
    • (Tropical Fish, Turtle)

Ambient Audio Balancing

Reduced bird dominance across multiple environments to create a more natural and varied soundscape.

Grass

  • block.grass.step
    • Bird ambience (bird-ambience1/2) and owl6
    • Weight reduced 2–3 → 1
    • Volume reduced 0.20 → 0.15~0.8

Snow

  • block.snow.step
    • Spooky bird ambience
    • Weight reduced 3 → 2
    • Volume reduced 0.30 → 0.20

Creature Ambience

  • entity.fox.ambient
    • Reduced spooky bird weights and slightly lowered volume.
  • entity.frog.ambient
    • Bird ambience volume reduced by 35%.
  • entity.llama.ambient
    • Bird ambience weight reduced 2 → 1.
  • entity.bee.loop
    • Reduced warm bird ambience frequency.
  • entity.sniffer.idle
    • Large bird ambience weight reduced 3 → 2.

 Mono Audio Converts & Compensation

Adjusted several streamed sounds that became noticeably quieter after mono conversion. (The file size has been reduced by half)

    • Stream volume 0.25 → 0.50
  • entity.sniffer.idle
    • Light wind volume 0.80 → 1.10
  • entity.dolphin.ambient
    • Long seagull volume 0.25 → 0.50
  • entity.turtle.ambient_land
    • Seagull ambience volume 0.25–0.27 → 0.45
  • Added attenuation_distance: 16 to all streamed sounds that previously lacked attenuation settings.

 Expanded Usage of Existing Assets

Several previously unused environmental recordings are now integrated throughout the soundscape.

Camel Complete desert soundscape featuring cicadas, mesa ambience, light wind, and crows.
Polar Bear Arctic ambience with howling wind, distant wolves, and snowy owl calls.
Blaze Added subtle Nether atmospheric layer using streamed Nether ambience.
