Technical Fixes

  • Standardized all replace values to proper JSON boolean format (true/false instead of "true"/"false").
  • Fixed incorrect path: AmbientSounds6/cicadas/cicadas → AmbientSounds6/animals/cicadas/cicadas.

Volume Balancing Reduced overly loud sound sources to better match the rest of the pack:

  • block.grass.step (leafy wind) — 1.4 → 0.7
  • block.gravel.step (light wind) — 1.4 → 0.9
  • entity.dolphin, cod, panda, salmon, turtle, tropical_fish (wind & ocean) — 2.0 → 1.2–1.3
  • block.water.ambient (ocean) — 2.0 → 1.2
  • entity.tropical_fish (seagulls) — 1.0 → 0.5

Frequency / Weight Balancing Rebalanced weights for greater variety and less repetition.

Animal Sounds (Reduced crows & pigeons):

  • block.grass.step: Slightly fewer pigeons; leafy wind more common.
  • block.gravel.step: Fewer crows; light wind more common.
  • block.snow.step: Fewer crows.
  • entity.fox.ambient: Fewer crows.
  • entity.llama.ambient: Fewer crows.
  • block.grass.step: Owls now have reduced weight (rarer during daytime).

Wind Sounds (Slightly increased):

  • block.grass.step, block.gravel.step: Wind appears more frequently.
  • Multiple entities (entity.sniffer, dolphin, cod, panda, salmon, tropical_fish, turtle, llama, fox): Slight wind weight increase.
