## v2.2.0 — The Dimension Update (+ underwater)

Every dimension now has its own identity. First official release (out of Alpha), still one single file for Minecraft 1.16.5 -> 1.21.11.

### New: a REAL gravitationally-lensed black hole
- The black hole is now ray-marched with true gravitational lensing, Interstellar-style: light bends around the event horizon, background stars and the Milky Way stretch into an Einstein ring, and the accretion disc wraps above and below the horizon.
- Swirling incandescent matter with relativistic Doppler beaming (the side rushing toward you glows brighter) and a blazing photon ring.
- Still fixed in the northern sky, day and night — your celestial compass.

### New: the End void
- A GIANT black hole (2.5x the Overworld one) dominates the sky of the void — fight the dragon under its eye.
- Purple nebula banks drifting in the dark, cold violet starfield (lensed too), spectral violet veil over the islands.

### New: the Nether inferno
- Volumetric smoke rises from the lava seas — thick, ember-lit at the base, ray-marched like the ground mist.
- Heat mirage above the terrain: the air shimmers and ripples.
- Glowing embers drift through the air; stratified fog glows lava-orange low and ash-grey high.
- Soul sand exhales ghostly blue wisps.
- The portal is reforged: a swirling blood-red marble with incandescent veins and rising sparks — medieval dark fantasy, no more vanilla purple.

### New: underwater overhaul
- Real depth absorption: colors die with distance, reds first.
- Snell's window: look up and the sky compresses into a bright circle, total reflection beyond it.
- Subtle refraction wobble; nights underwater are properly dark.

### Improved: Overworld
- Clouds now cast their moving shadows on the ground and the water.
- Water surface parallax: wave crests hide the troughs at grazing angles — the surface has real relief.
- Fixed stretched foam streaks under elevated water (fountains, aqueducts).
- New optional AgX tonemap (Post menu) for a softer filmic look.

### Performance
- The black hole is only marched in a tight cone around it, with a soft edge fade.
- Ground mist: analytic ray clamping and early exit — the heavy fog costs much less.
