Iniative Moribund
Moribund is a Minecraft survival experience inspired by DayZ and Rust. It focuses on survival, PvP, looting, and base building while keeping the core Minecraft gameplay.
Survival & Health
Moribund uses a custom health system instead of normal Minecraft hearts.
You can suffer from:
- Bleeding
- Broken legs
- Wounds
- Zombie Infections
Medical items such as bandages, splints, and morphine can be used to treat injuries.
Weapons
Find different guns throughout the world.
Weapons have different damage values, calibers, and attachments. You can customize them with scopes, silencers, extended magazines, grips, and stocks.
Loot
The world has different tiers of loot.
You can find weapons, ammo, medical supplies, gear, and attachments.
Better loot can be found in more dangerous areas.
Locked crates can appear at certain locations. When a crate is ready, the whole server is notified. Players can then fight over the crate and its loot.
Inventory
Moribund uses a grid-based inventory system inspired by DayZ.
You can equip backpacks, vests, shirts, and pants. Each item provides extra storage space.
You have limited space, so you need to choose what you carry.
Building & Raiding
Build your own base and protect your loot.
The server includes:
- Building
- Land claims
- Raiding
- Researching recipes
- Keycard rooms
- Monuments
World & Events
The world includes different locations, enemies, and events.
Features include:
- Zombies
- Disease
- Loot respawning
- Military areas
- AI Tank event
- Locked crate events
- Keycard rooms
Multiplayer
Moribund is designed around multiplayer and PvP.
Stamina, injuries, limited supplies, and losing your gear make every fight important.
Player bodies can remain in the world with their loot, allowing other players to find and loot them.
Server Wipes
The plan is to have regular server wipes, usually every 1–3 months.
The exact wipe schedule can be decided based on the community vote and server activity.
Development
Moribund is currently in early development.
The goal is to build the project with the community. Feedback, suggestions, and playtesting will help shape the server as development continues.
