Modern Warfare Cubed (Patched)
Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge.
What’s in the base mod (MWC)
Modern Warfare Cubed brings a large modern arsenal and systems into Minecraft:
- Weapons — assault rifles, DMRs, snipers, SMGs, shotguns, pistols, launchers, and more, with authentic-style models, sounds, and animations
- Customization — attachments, modifications, and customization (scopes, grips, stocks, suppressors, etc.) with real stat effects
- Workbench crafting — craft guns, attachments, ammo, and gear at the weapon workbench
- Equipment — vests, backpacks, belts, and related gear with dedicated inventory slots
- Gadgets — tablets, cameras (place/throw and monitor entities; limited range), explosives/grenades
- Config & balance packs — tunable damage, UI, and gameplay options

What’s changed in this patched build
Bug fixes
- Proning on dedicated servers — crawl/prone no longer limited to singleplayer
- Vest armor — damage reduction reads the vest slot correctly (no longer treats belt as vest; avoids ClassCastException)
- Equipment slots — backpack / belt / vest only go in the correct slots
- Damage calculation — removed double application of group multipliers when a balance pack is active
- OreDict unifier — fixed broken varargs registration for shared metals
Balance defaults (no balance pack)
| Group | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Handgun / sidearm | 0.85× |
| SMG | 0.90× |
| Carbine / AR | 1.00× |
| Battle rifle / DMR | 1.15× |
| Sniper | 1.30× |
| Shotgun | 1.10× |
| MG / Heavy | 1.20× |
UI / config
- Ammo counter and firemode HUD off by default (can be re-enabled in config)
Crafting / workbench
- +40 magazine recipes and +11 sight/scope recipes added
- M202 scope recipe removed from the workbench
- Mid-tier DMRs (e.g. AR-10 Super SASS, Beowulf .50, M38 DMR) no longer require hbm:part_mechanism
- Broken HBM circuit/microchip ingredients removed (shared multi-item caused missing icons / reject)
- Workbench OreDict fix — recipes using ingotSteel (and other OD entries) correctly accept:
- MWC steel
- Immersive Engineering steel
- HBM’s Nuclear Tech steel
- UniDict-unified steel
(same idea for other OreDict materials already in recipes)
Compatibility notes
- OreDict-friendly materials work better with Immersive Engineering, HBM’s Nuclear Tech, and UniDict
- Optional/separate HBM energy (FE→HE) bridging is not fully claimed in this pack
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.12.2
- Forge (1.12.2)
- Optional but recommended for full material recipes: HBM’s Nuclear Tech, Immersive Engineering, UniDict (or similar OreDict unifiers)
Known limitations
- Deep backpack GUI race / dupe edge cases not fully locked down
- Full automatic FE powering of every HBM machine not included
