## ⚖️ Balanced, Not Broken
Every mod here was tuned so the pack plays as one progression, not 120 separate shortcuts:
- **Less ore spam:** duplicate ore generation removed, so metals come mainly from Thermal ores, with extra copper, tin and silver in the **Nether** (watch out for angry pigmen and ores that explode when mined)
- **Earned ore doubling:** the Tinkers' smeltery gives 1.5× ingots; machines are how you double ore
- **Late-game flight:** the Angel Ring needs a Nether Star *and* a Gaia Spirit
- **No free resources:** the Quantum Quarry and Laser Drill cost far more power, Mystcraft can't make ore or molten-metal worlds, and the uncrafting table can't be used to duplicate items
- **Fair bees:** Gendustry's Mutatron and Imprinter cost more power and are riskier
- **Sensible vein mining:** 64 blocks max, with a small hunger cost
- **Power with a price:** converting between EU, RF and MJ loses 10%
