Fixed once and for the over powered vanilla ore smelting bug by removing the affected recipes entirely with craft tweaker.

 

Add Tinkers construct and related mods.

 

Now you have to make a smeltery to get the ore from the removed furnace recipes.

 

The problem is that some mod author thought it would be funny to have code that randomly adds an ore smelting recipe that either quadruples the output of iron or gold or returns a full stack.

 

The first occurrence of the bug happened in the months of January thru March 2018. We have a suspicion but it is not confirmed yet.
