Modpack is in playtest now. I will be pleased to see any ideas about improvments. Feel free to write your opinion about this modpack in commets.
Main idea of this modpack is an hardcore journey through mechanics and machines of all mods.
When you playing common modpack , you know that this mod is best in one thing and other mod is best in some other things. And for this reason you skips some mechanics of this mods, trying to get endgame items as fast as possible.
But when you have best items you don't know what you can do now, because you already feel that you have enough. Of course after this point you starting to lose interest to modpack faster and faster.
Playing in this modpack you need technologies from all mods to get endgame features.
But cool feature is that progression not linear. After some steps you will get to the point where you have two ways of prossion and you don't need techs from one branch to get something from another. At the end this branches will be merged.
Better Questing mod is installed, but used just to create graph of all mods and their interactions in modpack. All quest are just checkboxes, with lore friendly description and mark to mod, which you unlocked with this quest.
You can use your questbook as guide.
From start to the end you will try any types of gameplay.
After first load of the world you will be starving surviver. Next you will be enginer and magician. And at the end you will be unkillable god, which can create matter and energy from nothing.
Last mod in your journey will be Avaritia.
Everytime in new mopacks you can find different approaches to help with Avaritia, like block duplication with stuff from Erebus.
I think that Erebus is too cheaty. In this game I offer more oldshoolish way of farming - Equivalent Exchange. Now mod is called ProjectE.
All crafting materials from Avaritia has EMC value and it is very high.
Can you remember how to create best EMC farms? You absolutly need this knowledges.
My mod Get Back to Home installled too. Now you can teleport back to home for cost of hunger.
Attention: Refined Storage's last version don't have support of ProjectE. Older version not working properly with really big Emc values. For this reason I created custom version of Refined Storage for this modpack. Author of RS is not liable for bugs in this version. Write about all troubles in RS only to comments of this modpack.
