In the a post-nuclear age overworld, you are among the last humans alive after a worldwide nuclear war broke out and annihilated all major cities on the map and most other infrastructure. All that remains is scattered military bases and villages left among the new environment taken back by nature. But now a new danger looms near threatening you and the remaining villagers trying to simply live on after the disaster struck: parasites. They've invaded the dimensions home to you and the others and now you will have to fight back against these unfamiliar, hostile creatures.

Utilize a plethora of weaponry arsenal provided by HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod Extended Edition which has a wide range of (you guessed it) nuclear weaponry, guns and more. Protect the remaining villagers left alive with mods such as Immersive Railroads, allowing you to quickly set up rail systems and create evacuation routes for those that need to escape the parasite's attempted assimilations whilst fighting back. A skill based system that locks the initial stages of progression off will offer to give a more natural feel to the early stages of the game (specifically wooden, leather tools and armor). Regeneration is also very limited and will force you to keep you on your toes when in the midst of fighting back the parasites and other mobs. The pack uses multiple different Immersive mods (such as Immersive engineering) for the sake of more realistic logistical systems for use in the game.

This is a pack centered around hardcore given players can revive each other in multiplayer servers but it isn't required, you can still play survival if desired.

There are a total of 15 quests currently added, more to come.

This modpack will be receiving future updates as it is in the development stages as things are found and require ironing out; there are immediately a few things already that require my attention but will leave the initial version stages posted here for everyone to try the pack out for themselves.

Important note: If you plan to play on the official WotO server in the newest 1.4 patch/version, **EXPECT UNEXPECTED SERVER WIPES**. The modpack is still under development and wouldn't be too surprising if it started crashing on startup or stalling at some point due to issues related to the addition/changes and removal of mods.
