Void Nomad-1.0.10.zip
What's new
Void Nomad 1.0.10
A duplication with Mob Farming Supplies closed, and the essence prices checked again with the Essence Nexus in mind.
DNA no longer copies items
- A DNA Sample saved everything the mob was carrying, and every clone the Clone-O-Matic made came with it: the item in a fox's mouth, an enderman's block, an armour stand's armour, a donkey's chest, a villager's inventory. Killing the clones copied those items without end. Thanks to the player who reported it.
- A sample now keeps the mob and leaves out what it carried. A villager keeps its trades, a sheep its colour.
- Samples you already have are fixed the moment they go into your inventory, when you log in, or when you open the Clone-O-Matic or chest they sit in.
Essence prices, with the Nexus in mind
The check behind 1.0.9 missed two things. The Essence Condenser pays an item's full value, and the Essence Nexus sells any item it knows for exactly that value. Once you have a Nexus, any recipe that gives back more than it takes prints essence, and with the Crushing Macerator's bonus some did even before.
- Vanilla ores are worth what the Crushing Macerator makes of them, bonus included. A gold ore was 4,096 and crushed into 3 raw gold at 4,096 each plus a chance of nuggets, so multiplying the ore paid. Now gold ore is 13,827, diamond ore 24,576 and emerald ore 65,536, and lapis, quartz, iron, copper and coal ore went up the same way.
- Farm goods the Macerator turns into more than they were worth are priced at what it makes of them: glow berries 1,738 (they give glowstone dust and gunpowder), porkchop 528, beef 236, mutton 162, glow ink sac 826, wither rose 36. A farm with a Macerator already gave that much.
- A nugget is now priced at about a ninth of its ingot. The iron nugget was 48, now it is 28.
- Sawdust from CakeStickLib's Hammer is worth 8, a quarter of the log it comes from. Paper made from it costs 4 instead of 32, and books, maps and bookshelves get cheaper with it.
- Blaze powder comes down to 1, because Cyclic makes it out of magma cream, which it makes out of gravel and lava.
- Left as they are on purpose: the Solidification Chamber and Ender IO's Fluid Tank, which turn cheap fluids into things worth a little more, and a Macerator fed by a stone generator turning up the odd ender pearl or blaze rod. They work like farms, and the machine's speed is the limit.
- Your world's prices are worked out again the first time you open it with 1.0.10. The essence you already have stays as it is.
A correction to 1.0.9
- The 1.0.9 notes said no ore gave back more than it cost. That was not true in the Crushing Macerator, whose bonus was left out of the count. With 1.0.10 it holds, with or without a Nexus.
Void Relic 1.0.9
- The relic's charge follows its stage. Chargers from other mods were told every relic held a Godhood's 100,000,000 FE, so a Stirring relic could be filled far past its 1,000,000 and a Dormant one became a free battery. A relic already over its limit is cut back to it, and the energy bar no longer runs out of the slot.
- The Void Refinery's markup is 1.75 out of the box now, as this pack already had it since 1.0.9.
Chest Transporter 1.0.8
- Picking up a Sophisticated Storage double chest no longer loses what is inside. Both halves come up together and go back down together, whichever half you click, and the upgrades are no longer copied onto the ground.
- A very full chest no longer breaks the carried item.
Other
- Omni Pots 3.0.0: with no container below, a pot holds its last harvest for a pipe to pull straight out of it, and whatever is still there at the next harvest is replaced. A chest below works as before. JEI shows which soils each plant takes and what it gives.
- Updated Cooking for Blockheads, Cyclops Core, Inventory Essentials and Polymorph+.
