Explore Minecraft with Verity, an AI companion whose story gradually turns into a horror experience.

Verity Gateway by Firs combines Verity JE with Smiley’s Better Brain, Better Vision, Russian audio and translations, and an independent AI gateway integration.

### Features

- Verity JE’s original horror gameplay and progression.
- Enhanced conversations, memory, and world interactions through Smiley’s Better Brain.
- Russian conversations, speech recognition, and generated voice through an administrator-managed gateway.
- Optional screenshot-based interactions through Better Vision.
- Russian prerecorded sounds and translations.
- Embeddium and Oculus for shader support.
- A customized Complementary Unbound shader with an embedded moon texture, included with permission. Shaders are disabled by default.

### AI access

AI features require a compatible server with a configured Verity Gateway. Access is granted by the server administrator while you are connected.

Installing this modpack alone does not provide AI access. No private provider API keys are included.

When AI features are used, messages, game context, microphone recordings, and requested screenshots may be sent to the gateway and its configured AI providers.

### Requirements

Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.20, and Java 17.

The included mod versions are intentionally selected for compatibility. Do not use Update All or install OptiFine alongside Oculus and Embeddium.
