📋 The Industrial Revolution 2- Wizard Boogaloo — Changelog
Version [0.2.0] — July 6th, 2026
➕ Added Mods
Progression & Skills
- Keystone Skill Tree — New skill tree system replacing the RPG Series Skill Tree. Standalone, no class addon packs required.
- Pufferfish Skill Tree Compats — Compatibility addons connecting Pufferfish Skills to other mods in the pack for proper XP and skill attribution.
Quality of Life
- Visual Workbench — Items placed in a crafting table now visually appear on top of it, making active crafting stations visible in the world.
- AppleSkin — Adds food saturation and hunger restore previews to food item tooltips and the HUD, so players always know exactly how much a meal will restore before eating.
- Carry On — Allows players to pick up and carry tile entities (chests, furnaces, mob spawners) and mobs by sneaking and interacting. Makes base building and rearranging far less tedious.
- Trowel — Adds a trowel tool that places a random block from a defined pool, useful for quick organic terrain building and decoration.
Farming & Animals
- Feeding Trough — Adds a feeding trough block that automatically feeds nearby animals, enabling passive animal breeding without manual intervention. Integrates with Farmer's Delight ingredients.
Visuals & Performance
- Distant Horizons — Adds Level of Detail (LOD) rendering to Minecraft, allowing far-away terrain to render at reduced detail at extreme distances without the performance cost of fully loaded chunks. Dramatically improves the sense of scale and exploration.
➖ Removed Mods
Progression & Skills
- Relics (RPG Series) — Removed. Was mistakenly added as a bridge mod. The actual Relics mod remains in the pack.
- Skill Tree (RPG Series) — Removed. Replaced by Keystone. The RPG Series system required multiple class addon packs (Archers, Rogues & Warriors, Paladins & Priests, Wizards) which added bloat and overlapped with existing magic and PMMO class systems.
World Generation
- Better Sparse Structures — Removed. Structure density is now managed entirely through Structurify, which provides more granular per-mod control without the need for a secondary global modifier.
Timber
- FallingTree — Removed. Replaced by Panda's Falling Trees, which provides a more immersive animated tree collapse rather than an instant chop.
📝 Updated
- Modpack Description — Fully rewritten to accurately reflect all currently installed mods, newly added content, and removed mods. Now includes detailed coverage of all major systems including Mystical Agriculture, Sophisticated Backpacks, Loot Integrations, the full Farmer's Delight addon suite, and all world generation layers.
🗒️ Notes
- Pufferfish Skills remains in the pack as a required dependency for Keystone.
- Players with existing worlds should note that removing Skill Tree (RPG Series) mid-world will wipe any skill points already allocated in that system. Start fresh or accept the reset before updating.
- Distant Horizons requires additional RAM headroom — bump allocated memory by 1–2GB if you experience stuttering on first load.
