WORLDGEN WILL BREAK BIG TIME THIS UPDATE
0.7 ended up larger than expected, so in order to avoid writing an essay, only the most notable changes are mentioned below:
- Replaced Echovoids with Goety: Event Horizon since Echovoids is no longer being updated on CurseForge.
- Added Archery Expansion.
- Added Whaleborne
- Added Goety. Integration is still very minimal since it was mainly added as a quick replacement for Echovoids. Iron’s Spells already adds a lot of compatibility, so Goety is unlikely to receive much more integration until Iron’s Spells is removed when Terramity 1.0 launches and expands the boss roster. Goety's mana bar will not be unified with Irons since it has more complex systems tied to it.
- Disabled the Flight Focus from Goety. More items will be disabled if they are considered too overpowered.
- Disabled several Iron’s Spells abilities to stop players from skipping progression too early.
- Most warping items have been disabled. Only Iron’s Spells portals and recall spells remain to avoid overlap.
- Some modded items have been replaced with Terramity equivalents (for example, Born in Chaos souls replaced with Terramity lost souls) to reduce item bloat.
- Nightmare Stalker and Lifestealer no longer scale with in-game days and now only spawn after reaching the End.
- All loot pool integrations previously managed with InControl have been moved to datapacks. These loot pools can now appear in EMI.
- Create received multiple optimizations.
- Particle Core has been swapped with Async Particles. Issues may arise from this change, so report any problems you encounter.
- Mending has been replaced with Dungeon Now Loading’s mending table (explained in the quest book).
- Power enchantment has been disabled.
- Naturalist has been swapped with Alex’s Mobs as Naturalist left 1.20.1 in a buggy state.
- Several unnecessary and annoying mobs from Alex’s Mobs have been disabled.
- Day and night now each have their own music pool.
- Animal loot will now scale based on their living space (explained better in the quest book)
- Significantly lowered the chance of Dungeon Now Loading maps appearing in chests.
- Removed capybaras to reduce loot pool bloat.
- Create and Supplementaries levers now have a UI similar to Create Aeronautics.
- FTB Quests UI has been overhauled.
- Mount summoning has been removed and replaced with the Familiar Book, which allows companions to be stored and deployed.
- Many item recipes have been rebalanced.
- All keybinds can now be viewed in the keybind map in settings.
- EMI keybinds have been reverted to Z and X.
- Unwanted items can now be trashed by pressing G on them in your inventory.
- A ton of boring, duplicate, or visually cluttered biomes have been disabled.
- All non-red Nether biomes have been disabled to make the Nether feel more hostile.
- Vanilla biomes have been overhauled in Region Unexplored's style
- Disabled C2ME as it was causing weird lighting issues. Since it improves world gen speeds a ton, it will be left in the modpack for those who dont mind the issues.
- And many many more things that i forg
