If you've played a modpack before and thought you liked the tech part, thats what happened with me! So I created this modpack!
First I would recommend making a farm and getting iron. When getting ores, use a quartz grindstone to double your ores, and smelt the ore dust. Be sure to make tinkers construct tools, a great tutorial I found for them incase you dont play with them, is right here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QxKh12OUn4
(for those who have never played with tinkers construct)
Later, once you have an abundance of materials (iron, stone, wood, diamond, gold, lapis) you might need to make a quarry for automated mining. (buildcraft) I believe It will require 8 diamonds, 16 gold, 32 iron, and something stone and wood.
You'll still need to manually mine for materials like Certus quartz, since you need a lot for an me system. With an ME system you'll get advanced storage. Thats when you can use any mod you want (Well this was a tutorial so you could do any you want actually, so you could use any mod you want before, use whatever mods you want.)
