The official modpack for the Super Hostile series by Vechs. A tough but (mostly) fair modpack inspired by table-top RPGs.

The Finarri and Others Varied Requests Update

Mod Updated: Infernal Mobs. I don't actually know what the update does, there's no change log, but I assume it must fix bugs? I was hoping the new version default config file would have some changes, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't.

Infernal Mobs: Change spawn ratios: Before: 1 in 320 monsters would be Inferno
Now: 1 in 153 monsters will be Inferno. Finarri asked for this, as she thought things were too easy. Personally, I think she wants more chances at gold and silver tokens... :)

Disabled "Alchemist" and "Vengeance" (monsters throwing potions and monsters hurting you when you hurt them.) Enabled "Exhaust". Alchemist more than anything slowed the game down by having you wait out the way-too-long poison duration, which was more annoying than deadly. Vengeance has a kind of overpowered interaction with Rust. Exhaust... is mostly a filler, I still can't tell exactly what it does even after testing, it seems to do the exact same thing as Weakness.

FTB Quests: Fixed typos and tweaked a few quests. Nothing major, except that you can get Soulfires from the Nether Hunting quest. I got weedled at in my discord chat for that one...

Recipes: You can tear appart a Furnace for 7 cobblestone, which may be useful in custom maps. Bait is more readily available from crafting recipes, it was too hard to get before (it may be too easy now, we'll see.) You can craft Respawner Statues, which are really neat. Pearls and cactus seeds have a few neat things you can do with them, as requested by other players. :)
