Super Hostile Modpack

The official modpack for the Super Hostile series by Vechs. A tough but (mostly) fair modpack inspired by table-top RPGs.

1072 Patch notes
The Step Height Kerfuffle Patch

Quality Tools: Removed Step Height from Common, Uncommon, and Rare quality boots. I love step height, and thought every else loved it. Apparently, after speaking with others, it's quite divisive. Some love it, others hate it, few people feel neutral about it. So, we'll compromise. If you hate Step Height as a mechanic, go up to Rare boots and spend your ingots rerolling the rest of your armor. If you love Step Height, reroll your boots to something better than Rare, which shouldn't be too hard. I hope this is a decent middle ground to settle in.

MODS MOVED TO OPTIONAL: Sound Filters and Dynamic Surrounding. I like both of these mods, however, two things came to my attention: 1) They're both optional client-side mods. 2) During a performance stress-test, I noticed that by removing both of these mods, I picked up an extra 12 FPS, on average. I have an excellent gaming computer, and I suspect that these mods are minor enough that most players would rather have the performance gain, and so they should be switched to the Optional category. I love the rain-on-water effect from Dynamic Surroundings, but I'd rather have my higher FPS, personally.

MOD UPDATED: Ancient Warfare: This update features the fix to the bug where I couldn't change the damage values of siege weapons, and a fix to the throwing-weapons in the Warehouse showing up as air blocks.

Ancient Warfare: Buffed the damage of the siege weapons so that the ballista and cannons do more damage than your bow. (what was up with those default numbers?) I suggest sticking with the 5kg cannon balls, as they actually have decent range, and hit for 56 damage (!!!)

Antique Atlas: Changed scan range to up to 32 chunks, but scan interval to 20 seconds. Instead of asking your computer to scan a short range very often, my configuration change instead asks for a huge scan much less often. Note that it won't scan unloaded chunks, so the range now simply matches your view distance.

SpawnControl: Chilled out some of the ramp-up numbers (0.5 ==> 0.85) for spawners, and tweaked the mob availability list (thanks Blue!)

Added several furnace recipes:
Ancient Warfare weapons (thanks Blue)

Ancient Warfare torque hammers

Added crafting recipes:
Naga Fang Dagger

Quests:
Added a new quest in Adventure Awaits regarding skeletons, and a new quest showing off how to use a rogue playstyle.
Tweaked a lot of quests to reflect various changes and updates, and to better serve custom maps.
